Learn from Master Saumik Bera, a senior yoga teacher, master trainer, movement and manual therapist
Saumik believes in understanding the human existence first, which is the human anatomy, and then learning the muscle is responsible for various movements in our body. In his philosophy, it will be so much easier to understand and heal our injuries this way.
For the last 20 years, Master Saumik has been teaching yoga as a master trainer, travelling around the world to share his passion of yoga. In 2010, he discovered that each person’s body anatomy is different, and to deepen his findings, he began his study on human anatomy. He then realised that its not enough to know the anatomy only, and started researching on the human body: how and what type of therapy works for who.
Furthermore, Master Saumik began conducting cadaver dissections for more than fifty bodies to understand the functional movement of the human body. Master Saumik is fascinated by the autonomic nervous system, which is heavily responsible for human reaction to pain and injury, and how it works on human body. Ever since, Master Saumik has also been helping people who are wheel chair bound, with cerebral palsy, cancer, spinal injury and many more – dedicating his life to help others.
